Edit Multi-Factor Authentication

Edit Multi-Factor Authentication

Edit Multi-Factor Authentication allows you to change the multi-factor authentication settings for the user account with which you signed in to the Enterprise Cloud. You cannot change the multi-factor authentication settings of another user. You can change your:

  • Primary phone number
  • Backup phone number, the phone number called if no answer is received on the primary phone
  • Personal Identification Number (PIN)

Select Edit

  1. Click User Settings.
  2. Under Multi-Factor Authentication, you can view the current values for multi-factor authentication.
  3. Click Edit in the Multi-Factor Authentication section.
  4. The Multi-Factor Authentication dialog appears.

  5. Type your Current Password.
  6. Click Validate.
  7. The Edit Multi-Factor Authentication dialog appears.

After you click Validate you will select whether to change Primary Phone, Backup Phone, or Personal Identification Number (PIN).

  1. You can edit your Primary Phone.
  2. You can edit your Backup Phone, if desired.
  3. You can change your PIN, if desired.

Edit Primary Phone

You can change the primary phone number of the user account with which you signed in to the Enterprise Cloud.

North American Numbering Plan

Many countries and territories participate in the North American Numbering Plan (NANP) for telephone numbers. For countries participating in NANP, the country code is assumed and the telephone number is in the format of {3 digit area code}-{3 digit exchange code}-{4 digit subscriber number}.

Note: For more information regarding NANP, see Multi-Factor Authentication.

  1. Select United States/Canada for Country.
  2. Type a Phone number.
  3. Type an Extension, if needed.

All Other Countries

For any country not participating in NANP, a country code is required and the telephone number is in a variety of formats.

  1. Select Other for Country.
  2. Type a Country Code.
  3. Type a Phone number.
  4. Type an Extension, if needed.

Edit Backup Phone

You can change the backup phone number of the user account with which you signed in to the Enterprise Cloud.

North American Numbering Plan

Edit Personal Identification Number (PIN)

The Personal Identification Number (PIN) helps authenticate you when Infinicenter Console calls your telephone.

  1. Type a New PIN, if desired.
  2. Re-type to Verify New PIN.

Save All Changes

When you are satisfied with the changes, save them.

  1. Click Save.
